Open Question: what are some good jobs in raleigh, north carolina?

I am moving to Raleigh in December, but i am starting my job hunt early. I am looking and applied to Duke for jobs, UNC, NC Central, and a few other hospitals. I have not started to apply to the public school system nor state jobs due to i want to wait a bit closer to the fall. However, I am a bit scared that I will not find anything due to my age (24) or that I am out of state for the time being (will change the address once i get there). I have a BA in english and a minor in Asian studies. What areas should i look in to make at least after taxes $590 per week?
